Travelling with pets
Throughout WA many accommodation properties welcome pets to stay with their humans. Some properties will only accept dogs (not cats or birds), some will only consider small dogs and many will not allow your pets to stay indoors. Caravan parks are more likely to allow dogs if you're staying in your own van.
Look for a 'pet-friendly' symbol when booking and always check with the manager of the property when you make your booking.
Cafes, restaurants and hotels do not usually allow pets inside but many have pet-friendly outdoor seating areas where meals are served
Certified service dogs such as seeing-eye dogs and assistance dogs are generally exempt from these exclusions and able to accompany their owners.
